Biography
Federico Amianto achieves the degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1996, the Specialization in Psychiatry in 2001. From 2002 is a research fellow at the Regional Pilot Center for Eating Disorders (DCA) of Department of Neuroscience of the University of Turin. In 2006 he became a medical psychiatrist in time determined at the ASL6 of Ciriè (TO). In 2007 he was hired by the AOU San Giovanni Battista of Turin at the Center for Food Behavior Disorders of the Neuroscience Department of the University of Turin, confirmed for an indefinite period of December 2012. In January 2009 he became Head of the Outpatient Department of the Regional Pilot Center for DCA and University Psychopathology Laboratory of the Family and Adolescence of Turin. Since then he has been supervisor and coordinator of the center operators. In May 2012 he obtained the Doctorate in Psychiatry of the Doctoral School in Neuroscience of the University of Turin. In December 2013 he obtained a position Advanced Professionalism Managerial for the DCA Outpatient Clinic that in 2016 becomes the Outpatient Service of Psychiatry for DCAs of Adolescence and Liaison between Child Neuropsychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. Since October 2016 is Associate Professor of the University of Turin.
